As Carlos Alcaraz gets ready to make his first appearance at the Australian Open in two years, Novak Djokovic will be involved in his off-season activities. Alcaraz’s 2023 campaign came to an end in the ATP Finals semi-final, as he was defeated by world No. 1. However, this year’s exhibition match between the two will take place before Alcaraz travels to Australia.
Alcaraz lost to Djokovic on Saturday night to finish off a stellar season in which he won six titles, including two more Masters 1000 crowns and a second Major trophy at Wimbledon. After missing the Australian Open in 2023 due to injury, the 20-year-old will now focus on his off-season goals and plans for 2024.
On December 27, Alcaraz and Djokovic will play in Saudi Arabia as part of the Riyadh Season Tennis Cup exhibition.
Following a lighthearted match, both players have very different plans to start their respective 2024 seasons. Alcaraz will head back to Spain, while Djokovic is signed to represent Serbia in the United Cup.

WLWWWWWWWW Now the world no.1, Novak played his last match on the 19th of November when he overcame world no.4 Jannik Sinner 6-3 6-3 in the final in the Nitto ATP Finals to win his 98th career title.
This year Novak has managed to achieve an overall 55-6 record. Novak clinched 7 titles in 2023 in Adelaide, Australian Open, French Open, Cincinnati, U.S. Open, Paris and the Nitto ATP Finals. The Serbian reached the final in Wimbledon.

WWWWWWWWLW Now ranked no.2, Carlos played his last match on the 18th of November when he lost to world no.1 Novak Djokovic 6-3 6-2 in the semifinal in the Nitto ATP Finals (draw).
Presently, during this year the Spaniard has achieved a 65-12 win-loss record. Carlos conquered 6 titles in 2023 in Buenos Aires, Indian Wells, Barcelona, Madrid, London and Wimbledon. Alcaraz reached the final in Rio de Janeiro and Cincinnati.
