The fans in carrot costumes known as the ‘Carota Boys’ had a great time watching the Italian’s best-ever win at the Nitto ATP Finals, following their meeting with their hero in Turin. On Tuesday they were treated to an incredible view of his biggest victory of the year over Novak Djokovic.
Sinner stated his remarks about his favorite fan group and said: “When they come to tournaments when it’s far away, it means a lot to me. They care about me as a player and they really want to support me. And they make me laugh—not only me, but I think all the fans because it’s something different.”
The 22-year-old surprised his fans with a special appearance during a video shoot for Lavazza, one of Sinner’s sponsors that has been funding his fans’ travel expenses. The group got to hit a few tennis balls with Sinner and enjoyed a cup of coffee with their star.
