Robert Federer, Roger Federer’s father, recently shared some of the things he misses most following the Swiss legend’s retirement. He also disclosed how spending time with his grandchildren is his priority these days.
Over the course of nearly 25 years, Roger Federer had an incredible tennis career. In front of his family at the 2022 Laver Cup, he said an emotional farewell to the sport.
During his time on the tour, the 20-time Grand Slam champion relished his family’s company, as his father Robert and wife Mirka were frequently spotted supporting him from the stands.
Recently, the father of the Swiss ace admitted that he misses traveling in an interview with Schweizer Illustrierte. He expressed his thoughts and said: “We travel a lot less than before, I miss that. The most important thing, is we like to go to the mountains with our grandchildren. To the Appenzellerland or to Valbella.”
