Before diving into the highly anticipated 2023 WTA Finals in Cancun, Mexico, Ons Jabeur decided to soak in the local culture and enjoy the lively atmosphere of Mexico. This prestigious year-end tournament, featuring the world’s top eight players in both singles and doubles, is scheduled from October 29 to November 5.

Jabeur, who is making her second consecutive appearance at the WTA Finals, sought a different pre-tournament experience this time. Last season, her debut at the Finals ended in disappointment as she didn’t progress beyond the round-robin stage.

In preparation for this year’s event, the Tunisian tennis star visited a Mexican-themed park, indulging in delectable local cuisine and even trying her hand at dancing. The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) shared images of Jabeur’s lively evening at Xochimilco, the Mexican-themed park, on their official Instagram.
