Tomic apologizes for arrest

Bernard Tomic had another nasty episode with law enforcement. The young Australian was partying in Miami in a hotel penthouse with loud music to refuse to end the noise and leave the room. Apparently there was an altercation with the staff and the police that ended with Tomic being arrested.

Bernard commented “It was definitely my fault. I was asleep on several occasions when they complained at first, but you know, it was just a noise complaint. I’m just happy I got out and no one got hurt.”

Davis Cup Captain Wally Masur commented  “Although we’ve had differences with his team, we’ve always expressed our willingness to help Bernard and we hope he can turn this difficult situation around. We will continue to reach out to Bernard. We’ve let him know both publicly and privately we are willing to work with him in the future, and help him achieve his potential as both a player and a person.”
