Kei Nishikori had to retire from the Halle semifinal against Seppi because of a calf injury. The obvious question mark is if he will make it for Wimbledon. Kei is rather confident about it.
Apparently Kei picked up his injury in the quarters in Halle against Janowicz (a match he won 6-4 5-7 6-3), but he still tried to play the day after against Seppi without luck “today [there] was a little pain this morning and I tried in the match, but couldn’t really move,”
I am going to be ok in Wimbledon
Then he added “I don’t want to take a big risk for Wimbledon. But I’m sure it’s going to be okay.”
