Andy Murray, who also had a significant impact on the British squad during the group round to qualify for the quarterfinals, uploaded a video on his Instagram story. In the scene from Sunday, Draper could be seen singing the iconic song, “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles),” while bringing his 21-year-old teammate home from the match.
Murray nodded politely and was afterward seen pointing the middle finger at the youngster. Later Murray clarified the situation and said: “Jack had a few before we left & took more in the car with him. So I obviously had to drive whilst listening to this very loud music & it was like one or two in the morning as well so it wasn’t an easy ride.”
Social media users loved the clip for Draper’s young excitement and Murray’s proper daddy attitude.

Now ranked no.41, Murray played his last match on the 21st of September when he defeated world no.668 Ye Cong Mo 7-5 6-3 in the 1st round in Zhuhai (draw).
Until now, during this year the Brit achieved a composed 30-13 match record. Andy has won 3 titles in 2023 in the Aix En Provence Challenger, the Surbiton Challenger and the Nottingham Challenger. Andy reached the final in Doha.
Murray is expected to play next in Beijing (China Open). He is currently an alternate. The main draw will start on the 28th of September.
