Rafael Nadal, the King of Clay … and the Roland Garros, has been 9 times in the final in Paris and seeing somebody else may be too painful.
So the King of Clay decided not to see the final to get some time to practice on the grass in Stuttgart. Rafa’s schedule with Lopez was scheduled at 5pm… just during the FO final.
Interesting enough also Federer chose not to see the match or better… to see it on the phone.
