Novak Djokovic talks about his philosophy talking about some other greats.

Novak Djokovic About Lebron And Brady

On September 10, Djokovic broke a tie with Serena Williams by defeating Daniil Medvedev in the 2023 US Open final to win a record-breaking 24th Grand Slam championship during the Open Era. He currently shares the record for the most single Major trophies in tennis history with Margaret Court.

During the press conference that followed the final, Novak Djokovic talked bout being a perfectionis. He was quick to acknowledge that he wasn’t the only athlete who had changed as he aged and gave the examples of NFL icon Tom Brady and NBA superstar LeBron James as two athletes who had excelled in their careers.

He commented: “I know I’m not the only one. There are a lot of great champions in different sports that thrive on this kind of approach to perfect themselves, their approach, their game, their performance, their recovery, every single day. On and on. That’s why LeBron James still keeps going at his age, or Tom Brady, you know, greats like that, that are inspiring.”
