Rafael Nadal has won 80 career titles, 17 slams, 11 Roland Garros, 11 titles in Montecarlo and Barcelona. Of course, this is not “normal,” but the humble Mallorcan insists that he is a “normal” guy that does “normal” things.
The King of Clay started his campaign in Monte Carlo after obliterating the Spanish no.2 Robert Bautista Agut with a strong 6-1 6-1 scoreline. After this win, Nadal was asked if “bothered” to see the draw to comment
“I am a normal guy. I look at the draw, and I look at the general draw and how the draw looks for everybody. I just focus on my every day’s match, but of course, I know who is my next opponent if I win.”
Rafa will face Grigor Dimitrov in the 3rd round. The head to head is 11-1 for the Spaniard and, yes, that is not “normal.”
