Nick Kyrgios Vs Bublik Comments

Even Nick Kyrgios was unimpressed by Alexander Bublik’s harsh remark made after his US Open first-round loss to Dominic Thiem.

Although the 25th-seeded Bublik frequently has run-ins with the rules, many believe he went too far during his match on Monday at Grandstand stadium.

The Kazakh star expressed his frustration with his performance against 2020 US Open winner Thiem, a player who has suffered a string of injuries in recent years and has no Grand Slam victories in 2023, during the second set, and his slur was picked up by the microphones.

Bublik was picked up shouting “I am fucking sick of giving careers back to disabled people” in Russian. Kyrgios commented on Twitter: “This is low key horrible.”
