World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz agrees he will continue to use a Babolat racquet through at least 2030 with the signing of a seven-year contract extension with his longtime racquet sponsor, Babolat.

Alcaraz has remained committed to Babolat throughout his whole career thanks to the contract. From the age of ten, the 20-year-old Spaniard has used a Babolat racquet.

Alcaraz, the current Wimbledon and US Open champion, and Eric Babolat, the company’s CEO and the great-great-grandson of the company’s founder, signed the most recent extension of their contract together. Alcaraz has been using Babolat Pure Aero 98 tennis racquets and RPM Blast strings.

Alcaraz shared his thoughts about the company and said: “For more than 10 years now, Babolat experts have been constantly working closely with me to provide the best tennis equipment for my performance. Playing with my Pure Aero 98 strung with RPM Blast is more than just having a tennis racquet. It means I’m a member of the Babolat family, and that there are people at Babolat I think of as part of my team.”

At the age of 10, Alcaraz entered into his first agreement with Babolat in Spain. He joined the International Babolat team when he was just 13 years old, and now, at the age of 20 he already has two Grand Slam titles to his name.
