For the first time after two years, Novak Djokovic is back in the United States and back at the U.S. Open.
The 23-time Grand Slam champion, who was unable to compete at Flushing Meadows in 2022 due to failing to enter the country without a COVID-19 vaccination, will return to US Open on Monday as the final major tournament of the year gets underway.
The last time, he played at the US Open, Novak Djokovic lost to Daniil Medvedev in final 2021 by scores of 6-4, 6-4, 6-4. With a record 10 Australian Open titles and a record nine US Open final appearances, Djokovic is undoubtedly the greatest player of all time and perhaps the best ever on hard courts.
With three victories at the U.S. Open, Djokovic has won the second-fewest Grand Slam titles of any player in history, trailing only his two victories at the French Open.

WWLWWWWWWW Ranked world no.2, Novak played his last match on the 20th of August when he overcame world no.1 Carlos Alcaraz 5-7 7-6(7) 7-6(4) in the final in Cincinnati to win his 95th career title.
This season Novak has achieved a compiled 38-5 record. Djokovic conquered 4 titles in 2023 in Adelaide, Australian Open, French Open and Cincinnati. Djokovic got to the final in Wimbledon.
Djokovic will compete next at the U.S. Open (U.S. Open). He will start from the main draw that will commence on the 28th of August.
