In a recent video posted by National Bank Open on Twitter, Carlos Alcaraz and Holger Rune can be seen clashing with each other on the court.
Rune put up a challenge for Alcaraz and asked him to play with unique racquets which had half of the strings missing. Both were playing with damaged racquets and strings missing but still managed to play some shots.
Alcaraz tried to play some shots and said: ” This is really tough. But I think I will get it. This is not the way to play with it. But you know I have to overcome the problems.”

WWWWWWWWLW Now ranked no.1, Carlos played his last match on the 11th of August when he surrendered to world no.14 Tommy Paul 6-3 4-6 6-3 in the quarter in Toronto (draw).
During this season Carlos owns a composed 49-5 win-loss record. The Spaniard clinched 6 titles in 2023 in Buenos Aires, Indian Wells, Barcelona, Madrid, London and Wimbledon. Carlos got to the final in Rio de Janeiro.
He is also scheduled to play at the U.S. Open (U.S. Open) after Cincinnati. The main draw will start on the 13th of August.
Holger Rune in 2023
LWWLWWWLLW Currently ranked no.6 (career-high), the Dane played his last match on the 9th of August when he capitulated to world no.70 Marcos Giron 6-2 4-6 6-3 in the 2nd round in Toronto (draw).
Currently, during this year Holger owns a 37-14 win-loss record. This year, Rune lifted the trophy in Munich. Rune was the runner-up in Monte-Carlo and Rome.
Rune has scheduled to compete next in Cincinnati (Western & Southern Open). He will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 13th of August.
