US OPEN PRIZE MONEY: Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic can earn so much

When the US Open begins at the end of this month, Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic will be the overwhelming favorites to win.

Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic will be the top favorites to clinch the title of the US Open which starts at the end of this month. The US Tennis Association announced on Tuesday that this year’s US Open event’s overall prize money and player pay would set a new high of $65 million.

The entire payoff was projected to be $60 million in 2022. The US Open was the first event in the sport to pay women and men equally, and in 2023, to celebrate its 50th anniversary, both singles winners will get $3 million.

After deducting the costs paid, the US Open has the highest prize pool of any Grand Slam competition this year.
