The former world No. 1 and 2018 Australian Open winner, Wozniacki, is playing her first match since January 2020 thanks to a wild-card entrance into the National Bank Open main event. Before the U.S. Open in late August, Wozniacki said she wants to play as many matches as she can to restore her confidence.

While talking to the media about her family with her during the tour Wozniacki said: “Honestly it’s all worth it. I couldn’t have done it without having my family here. I love having them here and it makes me so happy.”
