Following Carlos Alcaraz’s victory over Novak Djokovic, Nick Kyrgios was delighted and he expressed this on his Twitter account by posting, “Alcaraz is a freak”.
Kyrgios, who is well-known for being a vocal figure on social media, used his Twitter account to share his thoughts on an outstanding final on the occasion of the match. Kyrgios’s statement came after Alcaraz defeated his rival Djokovic in a nail-biting Final at Wimbledon on July 16.
He further wrote on his social media account: “Haven’t watched a whole tennis match in a long time haha. THANK YOU @DjokerNole and @carlosalcaraz for putting on that incredible performance. Congratulations to you both”, wrote Kyrgios.
Given his strong performance at Wimbledon in 2022, Kyrgios would have been among the favorites, but he underwent knee surgery after the Australian Open. Given his young age and the incredible talent Alcaraz possesses, Kyrgios’s response to some of the Spaniard’s playmaking was not unexpected.
Both viewers and die-hard fans were captivated by the performance of Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz in the Wimbledon 2023 men’s final. The two players received praise from all over the tennis world.
