Carlos Alcaraz won the Wimbledon title on Sunday after conquering a rather thrilling final against Novak Djokovic. Before the final, Carlos Alcaraz was already the world’s number one. However, Novak Djokovic would become the ATP leader once again if he won the final. That did not happen, and therefore Carlos Alcaraz has increased his lead in the live rankings after winning the championships.

Now ranked no.1, Alcaraz played his last match on the 16th of July when he beat world no.2 Novak Djokovic 1-6 7-6(6) 6-1 3-6 6-4 in the final in Wimbledon to win his 11th career title.
Currently, during this year Alcaraz has achieved a composed 47-4 match record. The Spaniard conquered 6 titles in 2023 in Buenos Aires, Indian Wells, Barcelona, Madrid, London and Wimbledon. Alcaraz got to the final in Rio de Janeiro.
