We have fantastic news from Karen Khachanov! He announced the birth of his second child, a boy named Mikael, on social media on Wednesday, July 12.
Veronika Shkliaeva, Khachanov’s childhood sweetheart, and he have been dating since 2011. Their first child, David, was born in September 2019, and they got married in 2016. The pair wants to keep their love life secret and rarely posts photos together on social media. The Russian published a touching image of himself clutching his infant son’s hand.

Currently the world no.11, Khachanov played his last match on the 6th of June when he surrendered to world no.2 Novak Djokovic 4-6 7-6(0) 6-2 6-4 in the quarter of the French Open (draw).
This season the Russian owns an overall 23-11 match record. Karen Khachanov’s best result of the present year was getting to the semifinal at the Australian Open and Miami.
Khachanov will compete next in Los Cabos (Abierto de Tenis Mifel). He will start to play the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 31st of July.
