Lorenzo Musetti had a decent Wimbledon campaign this year, where he reached the third round before losing to Hubert Hurkacz 7-6(4) 6-4 6-4. Lorenzo decided to play a couple of tournaments on clay before heading to North America and competing in the so-called North American swing. Following his schedule, Lorenzo will compete in Bastad next week. The tournament has secured the participation of some top players such as Casper Ruud, Andrey Rublev and Alexander Zverev.

Ranked world no.16, Musetti played his last match on the 7th of July when he lost to world no.18 Hubert Hurkacz 7-6(4) 6-4 6-4 in the 3rd round in Wimbledon (draw).
