During a round of 16 doubles match at the Bad Homburg Open, Ingrid Martins made a fantastic shot, and Alexandra Panova and Ulrikke Eikeri couldn’t help but congratulate her. Martins and her teammate Lidziya Marozava of Belarus had to win in a tie-breaker after being pressed to do so by their adversaries, but they did so by scores of 4-6, 6-3, and 12-10 to advance to the quarterfinals.
Panova blasted a powerful strike in Martins’ way, and she quickly replied by firing back, and the ball landed perfectly a few inches in the other court. The 26-year-old started laughing as soon as the point was called, shocking her opponents and the fans.
