This year we may watch some highlights of Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz commented by AI.
IBM revealed on Wednesday that artificial intelligence (AI) will be used in this year’s Wimbledon tennis commentary, assisting viewers in connecting with the competition “on a deeper level.” The AI commentary technology, which was created by IBM, said in a news statement that Wimbledon would use the new capability for all video highlights packages.
Fans may access it after the match on the Wimbledon website and app, where they can change between audio commentary and captions of important scenes.

“Its introduction this year is a step towards making commentary available in an exciting way for matches outside of Wimbledon’s Show Courts, which already have live human commentary.”
Novak Djokovic in 2023
Currently ranked no.1, the Serbian played his last match on the 11th of June when he beat world no.4 Casper Ruud 7-6(1) 6-3 7-5 in the final of the French Open to win his 94th career title.
Presently, during this year the Serbian achieved a 27-4 record. Novak has won 3 titles in 2023 in Adelaide, Australian Open and French Open.
Djokovic has scheduled to play next at the Wimbledon (Wimbledon). He will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 3rd of July.
Alcaraz in London, ranking, and results in 2023
At the moment ranked no.2, Alcaraz has a 36-4 win-loss record in 2023. Alcaraz is currently having a run in London where he toppled the world no.83 Arthur Rinderknech 4-6 7-5 7-63.
Carlos Alcaraz will square off with the world no.36 Jiri Lehecka in the 2nd round. In the past, they have never played each other till now on the main tour.
Alcaraz clinched 4 titles in 2023 in Buenos Aires, Indian Wells, Barcelona and Madrid. Alcaraz got to the final in Rio de Janeiro (Rio Open).
