Sascha didn’t have a great start of the season after he crashed out from the Australian Open in the 4th round following a horrible performance against Milos Raonic. Therefore, the German no.1 decided to take a 1 month’s break before going back to competitions in Acapulco where he also enjoyed some time off with his girlfriend, Olya Sharypova.
The German had a fantastic start in Mexico after he beat Alexei Popyrin 6-3 6-3 playing great tennis.
Ferrer
Currently ranked 145, David accessed the main draw after he was granted a wildcard. The Spaniard defeated Tennys Sandgren 7-6 (5) 7-6 (3) in the 1st round.
