Leander Paes (41) and Martina Hingis (34) are already tennis legends and today they have added something more to their aura. The couple defeated Nestor and Mladenovic 6-4 6-3 to win the Australian Open title (mixed doubles).

The history of both players is incredible. In Melbourne Martina Hingis has already won 3 titles in singles, 4 doubles and 3 mixed doubles. Martina has played for the 1st time at Melbourne Park in 1995 (at 14!) “After 20 years being back on the court… who would have thought. It’s more than I could ever dream of” she said.
Leander
The Indian was elated with the partnership to say “our understanding of each other is amazing. Martina is such a smart tennis player and she knows exactly what movements I’m going to do (and) I know what movements she’s going to do,”
