Jack Draper follows Emma Raducanu in not playing Wimbledon and the entire grass stint

Jack Draper and Emma Raducanu are both struggling with injuries, with Draper not competing at Wimbledon due to a shoulder injury.

Jack Draper and Emma Raducanu are fantastic prospects for British tennis, but they keep struggling with injuries. Emma Raducanu had to cut short her season after deciding to undergo three surgeries, and therefore she will not play for sure in the next few months, skipping the grass season and Wimbledon.

Unfortunately, British fans will not have the opportunity to see Jack Draper in action at Wimbledon after the British sensation announced that he will not compete in the next few weeks because of a shoulder injury. This was Jack Draper’s statement on social media.

Ranked world no.55, Draper played his last match on the 29th of May when he had to retire when playing against world no.49 Tomas Martin Etcheverry in the 1st round and the scoreline was 6-4 1-0 .

Until now, during this year the Brit has managed to achieve a composed 10-7 win-loss record. Jack Draper’s best result of the present year was getting to the semifinal in Adelaide.

Draper is scheduled to compete next in Stuttgart (Boss Open). He will begin to play the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 12th of June.
