A terrible tragedy occurred few days ago. We just came to know that Violetta Degtiareva passed away probably for a heart attack the 12th of January.
The terrible news was given by Violetta’s friend and colleague Anastasia Vdovenco that shared her grief on Violetta’s facebook profile.
It is still not clear if Violetta passed away on the tennis court or in the hospital after a stroke occurred on the practice court.
Violetta was currently ranked no.1084 and she reached a career world no.947 career high. Violetta was jusr 23.
Pity… RIP. All our condolence to the family.
