Stefanos Tsitsipas allegedly asks her mother to leave his box when facing Daniil Medvedev in Rome

Stefanos Tsitsipas was upset with his mother, who was coaching him in Russian, and asked her to leave the box before the second set.

There is a bit of a Greek tragedy in Rome, with Stefanos Tsitsipas facing Daniil Medvedev for a place in the final. After losing the first set, the Greek sensation looked to be quite upset with someone in his box. According to reports, he was upset with her mother coaching him in Russian because Medvedev could understand the instructions. Apparently, Stefanos asked her mother to leave the box.

After a strange exchange before the second set with her son, Tsitsipas’s mother went to sit somewhere else in the stadium, appearing on the verge of crying.
