Novak Djokovic beats Lucas Puille 6-0 6-2 6-2 in 83 minutes to face Rafael Nadal in the final.
There is no much to talk about the semifinal as the world no.1 was absolutely perfect to commit only 5 unforced errors in the entire match. Pouille didn’t play that bad, but Djokovic was just playing at a completely different level.

After the match, Nole commented
“One of the best matches I’ve ever had on this court. Everything worked the way I imagined it. Tough one for Lucas, but he had a great tournament.”
The final vs. Nadal
Novak will face Rafael Nadal for the 53rd time of their incredible careers. The head to head is 27-25 for Djokovic and 14-5 for the world no.1 on hard courts.
Who is the favorite between Djokovic and Nadal?
Overall, Nadal played better than Djokovic during this Australian Open, and he seems to cope better with the harsh conditions. However, generally speaking, Djokovic has a good record against Nadal on hardcourts, and that may play a role in the final.
Whatever it is going to be it’s the world no.1 playing against the world no.2 and therefore you can’t have a better final to watch.
