The Olympic Games 2020 are not far away.
Well… they are not far away when it comes to preparing for them at least. July 24, 2020, is when all of the best athletes in the world will gather in Tokyo to win one of the most prestigious sporting events in the world. It’s a once in four years opportunity, literally.
Tennis fans too, have their eyes peeled on the fixtures to see who would be the top pick of the lot when it comes to their favorite sport. It’s why betting on tennis remains as popular as ever. And we have our eyes on three players that we are sure will create ripples at the Ariake Tennis Park in the Olympics 2020.
Here is a look at whom we expect to be among the American tennis stars in Olympics 2020.
Women
Some of these women have been winning championships for a while now, giving testimony to their will, talent and strength.
One of the greatest female tennis players to have been born, Serena Williams, is an obvious choice when we are talking about tennis players to look out for this Olympics. Not only will she be vying for a tie in the record with her 24th Grand Slam in Australia this year, but she is also the Olympic single’s gold medallist in 2012 London Olympics. She has the spunk and the vigor to create waves in the sport.

Currently, World number 5, Sloane had made her Olympic debut last Olympic season in Rio De Janeiro in 2016. The only thing that can stop her from her goal is her occasional lack of consistency. But still, she is just 25 years old and has time to get things in order. However, this one has potential, and we are definitely looking at her!
Men
There are a few American great tennis stars to look up to.
While the leggy six foot ten inches Isner had opted to skip the Olympics last time to keep his attention on the American hard court, he is now ranked at world number 10 and is at the height of her tennis career. An Olympic medal would surely be the crown to his shining glory here. He had reached the Wimbledon semis last year and also won the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 in Miami. He already had previous Olympic experience in 2012.
An Olympic bronze medal already in his kitty courtesy Rio 2016, Steve will be looking to convert that into gold this next Olympic Games, preferably in a singles tournament. He has also won two ATP titles in 2018, so things look good for him in 2020.
This was our watch-out list. Many more players are waiting to get their chance at the Olympic Games 2020, and we can only wait and see what surprises the Games bring to us in 2020. Till then, all we can do is keep our eyes focused on all the key players we feel are going to make their presence felt in the Games.
