Ana Ivanovic and Maria Sharapova will clash for the first title of the season in the Brisbane final.
Ivanovic
Ana showed her new found drive winning another tricky match against Varvara Lepchenko in straight sets 7-6 (2) 6-4 (see article for more). The Serbian Beauty reached this final dropping only 1 set against (a really good) Kaia Kanepi in the quarters.
Sharapova
Maria was utterly devastating for the entire competition to drop just 9 games in all matches. The Russian Beauty showed her great form also in the semifinal to dismantle an in-form Svitolina 6-1 6-3.
Head to Head
Sharapova leads Ivanovic 9-4 (2-2 in 2014). Impossible to pick the favorite for the title as they are both playing at their very best.
