Before she retires, Naomi Osaka says she wants to win at least eight more Grand Slam championships. Naomi, 25, has won the Grand Slam four times. Osaka will sit out the full season this year due to pregnancy. The Japanese sensation is expecting a child in June or July in order to be prepared for the Australian Open in 2024.

“How many additional Grand Slam championships would Osaka like to win?” was a question she was asked during an interview with a Japanese sports writer. Osaka said swiftly, “Eight,” Osaka also hopes to take home the gold at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

Osaka played not that much last year as well, just making 11 tournament appearances. Naomi appears to be adjusting to the sabbatical well, as the Japanese player is highly driven and anticipating her tennis comeback in 2024.
