Carlos Alcaraz has a fantastic relationship with his coach, Juan Carlos Ferrero, who used to be the world number 1. During a recent interview in Miami, Carlitos was asked about who is his favourite former world number 1. He said that even if he has never thought about that, his answer is obviously Juan Carlos Ferrero.

Carlos Alcaraz in 2023
WLWLLWLWWW Ranked world no.1, Alcaraz played his last match on the 19th of March when he overcame world no.5 Daniil Medvedev 6-3 6-2 in the final in Indian Wells to win his 8th career title.
At the moment, during this season Alcaraz achieved an overall 14-1 record. Carlos conquered 2 titles in 2023 in Buenos Aires and Indian Wells. Alcaraz reached the final in Rio de Janeiro.
Alcaraz is scheduled to compete next in Barcelona (Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell). He will begin to play the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 17th of April.
