According to some recent videos posted on social media, Rafael Nadal is back to training, but on clay courts. The Spanish sensation has been recovering from a hip injury, and it is now not a surprise that he will not compete anymore in Indian Wells and Miami to focus his attention on the clay-court season.
The former world number 1 published the following statement on social media.
I am sad that I won’t be able to compete at Indian Wells nor Miami.
Very sad not to be there. I’ll miss all my US fans but I hope to see them later this year during the summer swing. pic.twitter.com/v6dsf1ayTI— Rafa Nadal (@RafaelNadal) February 28, 2023
