
All tennis associations are obviously targeting Asia for growing their customer-base, but the reality is that the baricentre is still between Europe and the USA.
Kei Nishikori shares his thoughts about this and he rightly says that this is tricky for Asia players that needs to be constantly on the road battling continuously with the jet lag. Of course for European players this problem is not as big as a huge chunk of tournaments are played in Europe, so they can easily come and go from home.
The Japanese commented “It’s tough situation for Asian players because all the tournaments in Europe and U.S. It’s not easy to go and come back all the time.”
