At a gathering in Vienna on Friday, one of Novak Djokovic’s jerseys from his 2023 collection was auctioned off for 11,000 euros (February 10).
The World No. 1’s wife, Jelena attended the event even though he wasn’t there, and she appeared to be having a great time. The Novak Djokovic Foundation, which works to improve education for children in Serbia and provides aid to any region of the world experiencing a crisis, is run by Jelena. Later, Jelena revealed how the jersey was auctioned on social media. She added that all of the funds raised would be given to the kids in the Kosovo Republic city of Kosovska Mitrovica. Southeast Europe’s only partially recognized nation shares its northern and eastern borders with Serbia.

Ranked world no.1, Novak played his last match on the 29th of January when he overcame world no.3 Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-3 7-6(4) 7-6(5) in the final of the Australian Open to win his 93rd career title.
At the moment, during this season the Serbian has a 12-0 record. Novak has won 2 titles in 2023 in Adelaide and Australian Open.
Djokovic is scheduled to play next in Dubai (Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships). He will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 27th of February.
