Rafel Nadal is not a lucky guy, at least recently.
The world no.2 was sidelined for the entire “American Summer “ because of a wrist injury, now Rafa is back and he has appendicitis!
The news have just broken after a rumor was already around saying that the King of Play had a stomach virus. Unfortunately Rafa’s team confirmed it was appendicitis instead.
For the moment Rafa is controlling the appendicitis with some pills, then back to Mallorca he will decide whether to undergo the operation. In the mean time Rafa is already training… he doesn’t look very mobile…see video
Rafa: I hope not to have surgery
The King of Clay commented “It’s appendicitis that I am controlling with some pills. I started to feel some pain when I arrived in Shanghai, then my team and I went to the hospital and I underwent a treatment with antibiotics, quite a heavy one.
Now I am already feeling better, but I will decide whether to undergo a little surgery once I am back in Majorca or not. I don’t want to do it in Shanghai, in a Nation that is not my home. My greatest hope is that at the end there will be no need to have a surgery, but can heal with the current treatment”
Rafa is scheduled to play today against his dear friend Feliciano Lopez that is also struggling with a stomach virus. Ouuuuch!
