The classless Italian embarrasses himself one again.
Losing to world no.553 Chuhan Wang in straight sets (7-6 (5) 6-4) wasn’t a great moment for Fabio Fognini, but giving the middle finger to the crowd (once again) is not really excusable.
It is not the first time that the controversial Italian has this kind of behavior. This year Fabio did the same at the Roland Garros to the French crowd after losing an “impossible” match against Monfils. (see article)
It’s probably time for the Federation to fine him and it is also probably time for Fognini to learn some manners. Being a bad loser is not an excuse.
The Italian ended his Asian Swing with two consecutive losses and without winning a single set. Time to reset… completely.
