Emma Raducanu and Andy Murray both won the US Open in their careers. Therefore, the US Open is a very popular slam in the UK. Sky Sports has just announced a five-year deal to show the US Open. The deal will start in 2023.
Jonathan Licht, the Sky Sports Managing Director, was extremely happy when breaking the news and releasing the following statement:

We have had a great history with the USTA and remember Andy Murray’s 2012 US Open win as one of the great moments on Sky Sports. This is another huge sporting event for our viewers, and we look forward to bringing tennis fans more of what they love and welcoming in new fans to the sport.”

Emma Raducanu in 2022
Now the world no.76, Raducanu played her last match on the 4th of October when she lost to world no.8 Darya Kasatkina 7-5 6-4 in the 1st round in Ostrava (draw).
This season Emma has managed to achieve a compiled 17-19 record. Emma Raducanu’s best result of the current season was getting to the semifinal in Seoul.
Andy Murray in 2022
Ranked no.49, the Brit played his last match on the 31st of October when he was defeated by world no.143 Gilles Simon 4-6 7-5 6-3 in the 1st round in Paris (draw).
This year Murray has managed to achieve an overall 29-20 win-loss record. Andy Murray’s best achievement of the year was reaching the final in Sydney and Stuttgart.
