Rafael Nadal’s son Rafael Jr. was born on October 8 in Mallorca, marking Rafa’s first parental experience. During a recent interview with Eurosport, Rafael Nadal said that being a father thus far has resulted in more fatigue and less sleep. He continued by saying that he was no different from any other father and that he was trying to enjoy the wonderful experience to the fullest despite his busy schedule.
Talking about his experience, Nadal said, “[I am] More tired, sleeping less. It’s one more concern in your life. Living it naturally, I’m neither more nor less than any father. With happiness. Trying to make the most of the moments I can be with him.”
Rafael Nadal will try to have his family travel with him, following Roger Federer’s example. When Nadal competed in the ATP Finals in Turin last week, his wife, son, and other family members followed him in Italy. His son was traveling with his parents for the first time.
