The man to beat in 2019 is Novak Djokovic, according to World No. 14 Cameron Norrie. The Brit is confident that the 21-time Grand Slam champion can dominate 2023 given that he might be permitted to play the complete spectrum of events after witnessing the Serb dominate 2022 despite being prohibited from competing in most big tournaments because he refused to be vaccinated for the coronavirus.

Carlos Alcaraz is still the deserving world no.1. However, according to the British player Novak is still the guy in pole position starting from 2023.

About Novak Djokovic

“Djokovic is the opponent to beat next year. He had an incredible season playing a limited number of tournaments. I have a lot of respect for him, it’s incredible what he did to finish the year as did,” Cameron Norrie commented.
