Ivana Knoll, a model from Croatia, traveled to Qatar to support her nation’s national team. She wore a long dress with her nation’s colors in the first match at the Al Bayt Stadium against Morocco. The dress even covered her head, but it also had a plunging neckline.
She wore a short, low-cut dress that exposed her shoulders and further accentuated her body for the match against Canada at the Khalifa International Stadium.
Talking to TMZ Sports, Ivan commented: “The locals confirmed to me that I can wear whatever I want. But I didn’t know that my video in a bikini walking by the sea would be such a big deal. The whole country is speaking about it. Everybody knows me here, and I saw that I was accepted.”
“I was never afraid to be arrested to be what I am, and I don’t think I can hurt someone wearing a bikini. And if that deserves to be arrested, then arrest me,” she added.

Previously, the tourism board of Qatar had advised travelers to cover their knees and shoulders with the following statement: “Visitors are expected to show respect for local culture by avoiding excessively revealing clothing in public. It is generally recommended for men and women to ensure their shoulders and knees are covered.”
