Tennis Australia has just announced all the tournaments that will take place until the Australian Open. Curiously, world no.1 Carlos Alcaraz is the only top-10 player who, up to now, is not scheduled to play in any warm-up event (or exhibitions) until the first slam of the year. The very last part of the 2022 season of Carlos Alcaraz was dented by a nasty abdominal injury that prevented him from competing in the ATP Finals
January Schedules and tournaments.
Besides the United Cup, on Australian soil before the Australian Open (16th) there will be 2 WTA500 tournaments in Adelaide (1st and 9th) and 1 WTA250 in Hobart (9th). In Auckland, there will be a WTA250 event (2nd) and an ATP250 tournament (9th). There will also be an ATP250 in Pune (2nd).
