Anett Kontaveit, like many other players, took a nice break after the 2022 season to enjoy the sea. The Estonian player chose Bali to relax alongside her dear friend Katri Kats. Katri is an influencer who is based in Bali, living with her boyfriend, Juhani Särglep. After her break, Anett will kick-start her pretty soon in order to be ready to start 2023 in the best possible way.

Ranked no.17, the Estonian played her last match on the 6^th of October when she had to retire when playing against world no.73 Tereza Martincova in the 2^nd round and the scoreline was 7-6(3) 1-0 .

Presently, during this year Kontaveit has achieved an overall 29-16 record. Kontaveit has won 1 title in St. Petersburg. Kontaveit got to the final in Doha, Hamburg and Tallinn.
