Alcaraz Rehabilitating

Carlos Alcaraz was not able to play at the ATP Finals in Turin because of an abdominal injury suffered during his participation at the recent ATP1000 tournament in Paris. The Spanish sensation will also be unable to play in the Davis Cup for team Spain. Carlito is still quite active on social media and he just posted this video about his rehabilitation.

Will Alcaraz play in the Australian Open?

It is not clear when Carlos Alcaraz will be back to competition. The doctor told him that it would take 6 weeks to recover. That means the 19-year-old will be a bit late in preparing for the new season. Fortunately, Alcaraz has a lot of time on his hands; therefore, it is quite possible that he will compete in Melbourne’s first slam of the year, which will start on the 16 of January. Carlos is not in the lineup of the United Cup that will kick-start on the 29th of December.
