Caroline Garcia had a fantastic season after winning 3 titles and achieving a current world number 6 ranking. The Frenchwoman is also about to play in the WTA Finals in Fort Worth. Even if she had such a great season, something went sideways in her coaching team. Therefore, Caroline split with her coach Bernard Perret right before the Finals.
Bernard revealed:
“I’m not a man of false pretense and when it’s over, it’s over. There have been problems. They ended up spoiling the atmosphere and I preferred to stop. I do this job for fun and there wasn’t as much.”
