Jannik Sinner is currently in Vienna, where he will face Daniil Medvedev in the quarter-final. The Italian sensation was out from competitions for more than one month after he got badly injured to his ankle when playing in Sofia.
While it seemed as if the young Italian recovered from his injury, it was clear during his match against Francisco Cerundolo that he was not yet at his 100%.
Indeed, Jannik revealed: “Physically, I feel good, but when you come back from an injury you always have to be careful and see how it goes day by day. Today I felt a little discomfort in my ankle, but it’s really nothing, I hope I can fix it for tomorrow.”
