Linda Fruhvirtova won her maiden title in Chennai on Sunday after winning a fantastic final against the world the number 51 Magda Linette. After conquering the event in India, Linda gains 56 places in the rankings to become the new world number 74 (her career-high).
Fruhvirtova is now the youngest tennis player on the WTA tour to be in the top 100 at just 17 years of age. Coco Gauff, Clara Tauson and Emma Raducanu are the next ones.
