Novak Djokovic and Sascha Zverev are going to face off in the last act of the season for the title of the ATP Finals on Sunday.
Djokovic
Nole has been beyond perfection for the entire week after he reached the final without dropping a single set on the way following his wins against John Isner (6-4 6-3), Sascha Zverev (6-4 6-1), Marin Cilic (7-6 (7) 6-2), and Kevin Anderson in the semifinal (6-2 6-2). The world no.1 is playing so well that is difficult to conceive how he can lose in the final if fully fit.
Zverev
Sascha had a rather turbulent, but highly successful, run in London. In the Round Robin, the German defeated Marin Cilic 7-6 (5) 7-6 (1) and John Isner 7-6 (5) 6-3. However, he lost to Novak Djokovic 6-4 6-1. In the semifinal, Sascha defeated Roger Federer 7-5 7-6 (5) after playing a fantastic match that was unfortunately tainted by controversy at the end of it.
Novak Djokovic vs. Sascha Zverev
Nole leads Sascha 2-1 in H2H matches, and he has defeated the German twice in the last few weeks in the semifinal in Shanghai (6-2 6-1) and earlier in the week. The world no.1 is the obvious favorite to win the all thing.
