Sascha Zverev and Karen Khachanov are going to fight in Paris for a place in the semifinal. They are going to play on Friday at 2 pm.
Zverev
Sacha had a great start of his Paris campaign after he defeated Frances Tiafoe (6-4 6-4) and Diego Schwartzman (6-4 6-2). The German looks set to go deep in the event and bid for his 4th Master ATP1000 title.
Khachanov
After winning the first 2 rounds without any problems against Filip Kranijinov (7-5 6-2) and Matthew Ebden (he withdrew on a 6-2 2-0 scoreline), the Russian had to fight extremely hard against John Isner. In fact, after failing to convert 3 match point in the second set tiebreak while leading, Karen had to dig deep before winning 6-4 6-7 (9) 7-6 (8) in a match that lasted 2 hours and 28 minutes.

Zverev leads Khachanov 2-0 in head to head matches. Given also the fact that the Russian had a very taxing 3rd round against Isner, the German looks to be the hot favorite to reach the semifinals.
