The seeds are announced in Wimbledon and we have a surprise: world no.1 Rafael Nadal will not be the top seed!
Wimbledon always adopts his own seeding that doesn’t follow the official ranking, but it is based on a formula that takes in consideration the results on grass.
So Novak Djokovic will be the first one and Murray, ranked world no.5, will be the third. Federer is the fourth seed.
This means that the possible semis will be Djokovic – Murray, Nadal – Federer.
